Former Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School (DPS) Society, Mr. Pramod Grover plays a primary, pivotal role as a Treasurer and the Chairperson of a number of Delhi Public Schools across India. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Grover completed his early education at the prestigious Doon School, Dehradun and St. Stephens College, Delhi before proceeding to London to study Accountancy. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is presently a fellow member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Institute of India. A successful professional journey saw him serving in senior managerial positions in India and abroad. He served as a President of the UK Chartered Accountants Association of India. He is presently partner in one of the largest firms of Chartered Accountants in India. A multi faceted personality, Mr. Pramod Grover has a literary bent of mind in spite of being a magician of numbers and accounts. Son of Urdu poetess, Mrs. Kanta Grover, he has carried forward her rich legacy of words through his novel, ‘The Wedding Gift ‘(2002) and another offering, ‘The Gunshots at Lodhi Garden'(2004) which has been inspired by his horrifying experience of being a witness to the 1984 riots and the brutality and terror thereof. Deeply moved at the sight of the injured and the dead, Mr. Grover penned down this engaging novel with a subtle message of communal harmony underlying it.
